Q: Will Bullseye cut my glass to a specific size?

A: Yes, and we can also ship it to you. Additional fees and some restrictions apply. For more information, contact us at sales@bullseyeglass.com or call 503.232.8887, Mon-Fri, 7am–5pm (Pacific Time).

Q: Does Bullseye offer volume discounts?

A: We offer discounts in our Online Store, via mail order, and at Bullseye Resource Centers. Items eligible for the volume discount are marked with a blue V symbol and include all sheet glass, billet, frit, rod, stringer, confetti, molds and other Bullseye branded products.

Shipping & Delivery

Q: How do you pack the glass so it doesn't break?

A: We have specially designed boxes for shipping sheet glass in most Bullseye sizes. Each box can hold eight 3mm sheets. Large-quantity sheet glass orders are packed in sturdy wooden crates, then banded together or palletized for safe transport. 20 or more full sheets can fit in a wooden crate, and shipped via freight carrier, which usually saves on shipping fees. To take advantage of this, you can click HELP ME WITH SHIPPING OR WILL CALL and a sales person will contact you.

Q: When will I receive my order?

A: Orders ship anywhere between 2 and 7 business days after being received, depending on volume. Shipping times depend on ship to locations and carrier. Expedited orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping industry standards continue to be in flux since 2020, and most carriers no longer guarantee transit times.

Q: If my order seems too large for the shipping method offered, can I contact Bullseye to find out if better shipping options are available?

A: Bullseye sales associates are always happy to discuss the best way to ship your order. Simply contact us at sales@bullseyeglass.com or call 503.232.8887, Mon-Fri, 7am–5pm (Pacific Time).

Q: Can I order through the Bullseye website and pick up at a Bullseye Resource Center?

A: That feature is coming soon! In the meantime, you can share what you put in your cart with us. Log in, place items in your shopping cart, but don’t check out. Instead, email us at portland@bullseyeglass.com and let us know you’ve got items listed. As long as you were logged in when you put items in the cart, we can see your list and will contact you with availability and to schedule your pick up.

Returns & Damaged Shipments

Q: What is your policy on glass that's broken in shipping?

A: All merchandise is closely inspected prior to shipping. Damage in transit is the responsibility of the carrier.

  • PARCEL: If you notice damage to the exterior packaging, save all packaging materials and damaged product and contact us immediately by submitting a case under MY ACCOUNT in the online store.
  • Motor freight: Damage in freight shipments must go through a claim filed with the carrier. This document gives important information on receiving freight properly.

Q: What is your policy on returns?

A: Call us for authorization and instructions before returning merchandise. A credit will be issued for merchandise returned in good condition within 30 days of purchase. Restocking fees may apply.

Q: What are Curious glasses?

A: The grading system for our handmade glass demands that each sheet match a target color and have a uniform appearance to receive first-quality grade. Glass that is not quite the target color or that has some other irregularity is graded “Curious” and is sold at a discount. Curious glass that is fusible is graded “Fusible-Curious” and is also sold at a discount. Fusible-Curious sheets are held to the same compatibility requirements as first-quality sheets. Our Curious and Fusible-Curious sheets are excellent for one-of-a-kind projects and are a great value for your dollar. Some of these sheets may be found in the Limited section of our online store. A much wider selection is available when you order by phone or email or when you shop at our Resource Center and some regional dealerships.

Q: What are Special Production glasses?

A: Occasionally we produce limited runs of top grade glass styles that are not included in our regular product line. We refer to these as “Special Production” sheets. Special Production sheets may be one-of-a-kind or available in multiples. They may be fusible or non-fusible. Some Special Production sheets may be found in the Limited section of our online store. Often, a wider selection is available when you order by phone or email or when you shop at our Resource Center and some regional dealerships.

Q: What are “Striking” glasses?

A: A small number of Bullseye glasses appear pale or colorless in the cold sheet, but “strike” or change dramatically to target color when fired. The images of striking glasses on this site show how colors appear before and after firing. Striking colors can vary, depending on temperature, atmosphere and amount of heatwork. For projects that are especially color-sensitive, we recommend fusing or torchworking a small sample of striking glasses before use to best predict final color results.

Q: Why are gold-bearing stringer styles packed differently?

A: Tubes of colors made with gold contain fewer stringers, to reduce unit price. For example, a tube of gold-bearing 1 mm Cranberry Pink (001311) contains approximately 87 pieces, while a tube of 2 mm contains approximately 33 pieces.

Q: Can I get samples of your glasses?

A: Yes. Our popular sample sets are great resources for any studio. Note that these samples are for color reference only. They are not intended for reheating and may not be fusible.

Q: What is 'Prop 65'?

A: The State of California requires clear and reasonable warnings on products containing chemicals that have been shown to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm, even if these products contain only trace levels.
Manufacturers of certain products include warnings pursuant to California Proposition 65, and caution is recommended when using products marked with the Prop 65 icon.

Q: How can I learn about glass art techniques?

A: Bullseye is pleased to provide top-quality educational resources for artists at all levels:

  • Our staff instructors produce an exceptional series of online kilnforming lessons to which you may subscribe.
  • We publish articles that describe how to work with glass in general and how to fabricate many kinds of glass projects. You can download these from our website for free. You can also purchase the Bullseye TechBook, a compilation of our educational articles.
  • We offer a wide range of classes and orientations for every skill level, taught by Bullseye’s experienced staff or by visiting artists. The majority of our classes are now live and online, with students attending remotely from across the globe. We post new classes monthly, and Orientations are always available with appointments arranged on an individual basis.
  • We provide this worldwide list of teaching studios and, where you can study glass art techniques.

Q: How can I get help if I’m having a technical problem?

A: If you have kept good project records and are concerned that a problem may be related to glass quality rather than variables in studio technique, please send us an email your concerns to sales@bullseyeglass.com and we will get back to you.

Q: Where can I go for product use questions?
